4. International Therapists / Remote Services

  • Licensed and regulated in their home jurisdiction, not UAE

  • All sessions are online only

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) does not claim these sessions replace UAE-regulated mental health care

 

5. Data Storage

  • Data may be stored on secure servers (possibly outside UAE, e.g., Wix servers)

  • By using the platform, you consent to this data transfer

Welcome to Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) (“we,” “our,” “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.

 

1. Nature of the Platform

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) is an online platform that facilitates booking and payment for online therapy sessions only with independent therapists.

  • We do not provide therapy or mental health services ourselves. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice.

  • All therapists listed are independent providers; any therapy you receive is provided directly by the therapist.

  • Therapists cannot prescribe medication.

  • Therapists cannot provide emergency care or treat clients who are suicidal or in crisis. Clients in crisis should contact local emergency services immediately.​

 

2. Booking and Payment​

 

  • When you book a session, provide accurate information (name, email, phone number, and payment details).

  • Payments can be made via direct bank transfer or PayPal. Sessions are confirmed only once payment is received.

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) may take a commission from the therapist’s fee.

  • Refunds or cancellations are subject to the therapist’s policy, disclosed during booking.​

 

3. Non-Solicitation / Off-Platform Engagement

  • Clients must book and pay for sessions only through AMHIRD.

  • Clients must not engage with therapists outside of AMHIRD for paid sessions that bypass the platform.

  • Attempting to book sessions directly with therapists to avoid AMHIRD’s commission is prohibited.

  • AMHIRD reserves the right to suspend accounts or take appropriate action if this policy is violated.

4. Liability Disclaimer

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) facilitates booking and payment for online therapy sessions with independent therapists.
  • Therapists are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and outcomes of their sessions.
  • Therapists cannot prescribe medication and cannot treat clients in crisis or suicidal.
  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) is not liable for therapy outcomes, advice, or conduct of any therapist.
  • Disputes regarding therapy quality, malpractice, or ethics must be addressed directly with the therapist or the relevant licensing/regulatory authority.
  • AMHIRD may assist with technical issues, scheduling, or payment processing, but this does not constitute mediation of therapy disputes.​
     

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be issued once a session has been booked.

  • Clients may reschedule their session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.

  • Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the session may not be accommodated and will result in the session being forfeited.

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) is not responsible for missed or unattended sessions.

 

6. International Therapists / Remote Services​

 

  • Some therapists may be based outside the UAE.

  • They are licensed in their home country, not by UAE authorities.

  • All sessions are online only.

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) does not claim these sessions replace UAE-regulated mental health care. Clients are responsible for understanding the scope of services.​

 

7. Data and Privacy

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) collects only personal data necessary for bookings and payments (name, email, phone, session info, payment info).

  • We do not store therapy notes or medical records. Therapists are responsible for sensitive health data.

8. Independent Therapists

​

  • Therapists are independent contractors.

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable laws, confidentiality, and record-keeping.

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) is not responsible for verifying therapists’ credentials beyond basic checks.

 

9. Termination

​​

  • Ask Me How I’m Really Doing (AMHIRD) may suspend or terminate access for violation of terms or illegal activity.

  • Clients may cancel their account at any time.

 

10. Governing Law​

​

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
